Principles

Craft over status. A watch is chosen for what it brings in craft, mechanism or historical position, not for the name on the dial alone.
Coherence over accumulation. Every new piece should add a complication, a story or a watchmaking viewpoint that the collection does not already hold.
Ownership over speculation. I collect to wear, study and keep. Pieces may leave as the collection evolves, but short-term resale is never the reason for buying.
